It’s August bank holiday weekend, or if you live within 20 miles of the Westway, Carnival weekend. The biggest street party in Europe once again descends on Notting Hill this weekend for two days of reggae, dancehall, soca, grime, bashment and nearly every strain of UK bass music you could imagine. Obviously, we’re hype, so to get you in the mood for a weekend of wheely bin-chilled Red Stripe, warm punch and soundsystem culture we’ve got Avelino, grime MC extraordinaire, to come through with his ultimate carnival soundtrack.

Konshens – ‘Bruk Off Yuh Back’

“First song that comes to mind, big tune.”
