Taking place on 10-12 November, Ableton will be launching its 3rd instalment of Loop. An interactive and immersive 3-day summit housed in Berlin’s legendary Funkhaus – East German Studio and broadcasting complex.
With over 100+ participants programmed, and guest appearances confirmed from Nosaj Thing, Laurel Halo, Machinedrum right through toBen Frost, Loop is set to have some of music’s most experimental producers participating alongside Ableton users. It’s a go-to gathering for all those who want to get the forecast on the landscape of music production directly from the people at the heart of the industry.
Following suit from its last two events, Loop will divide into daytime Q&A’s, discussions and presentations. New York-based collective Discwoman will talk about visibility and collaboration in their discussion on Building Creative Ecosystems, whilst Akala will be educating us on the history of the MC. Not only will there be space to get involved in participatory workshops, there’s even a program of live studio sessions. For dusktime activities, there will be performances and ample opportunities to connect with like-minded creators at the forefront of music production.
Driven by discussion, Loop is an annually run music gathering looking at making music today, and what it could be tomorrow.
Ableton is the go-to music making software for musicians producers and DJ’s to create. A multi-program, software house founded in 1999. It has since attracted a worldwide community of fans and users.
Notion will be tagging along to soak up some of that knowledge. If you are heading down to the legendary Berlin Funkhaus in a couple of weeks time, then see you there.
