Following the tragic Manchester Arena terror attack last week that left 22 dead and nearly 60 others injured, Ariana Grande has called on some of the biggest names in pop music to play Manchester’s Emirates Old Trafford this Sunday. Working alongside the ‘We Love Manchester Emergency Fund’, the ‘One Love Manchester’ gig will be in aid of the families of those who sadly passed away and all other victims affected by the attack, many of which who are still being treated in hospital. Free tickets are being offered to those who attended Grande’s Manchester Arena show, provided they register before 4 PM on 31 May using this link.
The bill will include performances from Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, and many others. The event will be broadcasted live on BBC Television, BBC Radio, and Capital radio networks, beginning at 19:15 BST. With such a star-studded and current line-up, it’s definitely apparent that the music industry, and Manchester, are standing in solidarity after the awful attack. General admission and hospitality tickets are on sale as of tomorrow, June 1st at 10 AM.
