Chairlift have shared their last ever music video

Chairlift share one last hurrah ahead of their final shows.

In December last year, New York via Colorado indie icons Chairlift announced they were breaking up. Now the duo have shared their final music video for Moth cut, ‘Polymorphing’. A stark black and white visual, the video focuses mostly on frontwoman Caroline Polachek hanging out around her apartment, in bed and cradling some baguettes; a waffle also gets ironed.

In a statement, Polachek, who also directed the video, said: “I wanted to make one last Chairlift video, and ‘Polymorphing’ is a favourite of ours—perhaps the most ‘us’ song of our last album. It’s the least conceptual video we’ve ever made; there’s no datamoshing or dance moves or foreign language translation—just a toast to our fans, to our friends, to the city, and to constant change! And yes, there is actually toast in the video.” Chairlift play their final shows across the US this month. Watch the video for ‘Polymorphing’ below.
