Apple Music has shared the latest instalment in their Apple Music Presents series, Apple Music Presents: Chris. Released on Friday and available to watch exclusively through Apple Music, the short film documents the life of Christine and The Queens’ Héloïse Letissier in the run-up to the release of her new album Chris. The documentary offers fans and Apple Music subscribers a chance to get to know Letissier’s new alter-ego in depth, exploring the themes of her new record.
The streaming platform also hosted an exclusive gig with the star in Paris this weekend she performed unreleased material from the new album accompanied by a team of dancers. Apple Music recorded the show and will release footage from it later this month under the title Chris: Live From Salle Pleyel Paris. Speaking about her upcoming album and the live performance, Letissier said “Writing a record is like staging a huge play in my head. Every interesting situation in my life could lead to a number I could stage. For me, the stage is a safe space because there is a sense of acceptance there.”
