Duke Dumon is one of the UK’s most versatile producers right now. Having cut his teeth in the world of deep house he’s gone on to produce for pop superstars and experiment with his sound, taking elements of the UK club scene across the world. His latest single ‘Inhale with London upstart Ebenezer is a great example. A pop-tinged single that sees Eb blocked by his Uber account, head on a night out and fall in love, ‘Inhale’ is a different sound for Dumont, bringing in more organic instrumentation and live feeling than previous releases. There’s an undeniable funk influence on the beat as well, Key-tars wail and drums crash with Ebenezer even providing his own backing vocals as the track progresses. It’s hard to not picture this track being played by a live band dressed in Parliament-style get-ups. The track lands everywhere later today but Duke and Ebenezer have been kind enough to give us the first spin. Listen to ‘Inhale’ below.
