Launched in July 2015, Suvlaki gives diners the option to eat in its restaurant or take away dishes too – convenient for lunch meetings or if you’re in a hurry. With acclaimed chef and Greek TV personality, Elias Mamalakis on board as a consultant chef, a high standard of quality food can be expected throughout the full menu. The restaurant offers lamb, chicken, pork dishes as well as the delicious Mastello cheese and vegetables wrapped in pita bread and served on skewers. It also boasts taste bud-tingling sides such as Elias’ Fresh Herb and Vegetable Salad and our favourite dish, the Baked Feta. In terms of beverages, Suvlaki also offers an entirely Greek wine menu, in addition to Greek craft beers. Have we mentioned it’s Greek yet?

The specialist grilling becomes a spectacle for the diners, cCreating a feature of the robata-style grill positioned prominently at the front of the shop. The interior is decorated with a full spectrum of blues creating a classic and understated appearance, only further enhanced with the Greek marble tops and Italian lava stone worktops. Suvlaki is a Greek food experience offering a quality and refreshing alternative to the high-end fast food market, introducing authentic Athenian food to the British Public the way it should be.
