Having announced its move to Brockwell Park this summer, Field Day has unveiled the line-up for this summer’s festival. Returning to its two-day format Field Day 2018 will see the likes of Erykah Badu, Earl Sweatshirt, Madlib, Loyle Carner, Fever Ray, Nils Frahm and Princess Nokia perform on June 1st and 2nd. It’s a jazz, soul and west-coast hip-hop heavy line-up with the likes of Moses Boyd, Sons of Kemet, Comet is Coming, Ezra Collective and Children of Zeus joining Badu on Friday 1st June.
Meanwhile, Saturday leans more towards electronic music and UK rap with Four Tet, Floating Points, Mount Kimbie, AJ Tracey and Kurupt FM all performing. Overall, it’s a subtle shift in booking policy and one that resonates with the festival’s new home in South London, where much of the music on display is being made. Have a look at the full line-up below and head to the Field Day website for more information and tickets.
