Preparations for The Great Escape 2018 are underway as of this morning. Earlier today the festival announced Mist and MoStack as the first headline performers for the 2018 edition of the Brighton Festival. The pair will play the festival’s annual Spotlight Show at the Brighton Dome on Sunday 19th May and have both had huge 2017s being nominated for MOBO awards and featuring on J Hus’ debut album Common Sense.
Today also sees the launch of The Great Escape’s First Fifty showcase shows across London, with a selection of the first fifty artists from announced for the festival performing across today, tomorrow and Thursday. Acts performing include Ebenezer, M.I.L.K, Bad Gyal, Girlhood and Joy Crookes. The festival also revealed a new wave of artists for next summer’s event, read the full list below.
