Awards season is underway, last week were the MTV EMAs and AMAs, next week are the MOBOs but this Thursday there’s a whole new award ceremony in town, the Young Music Boss Awards. Hosting their inaugural event this year the Young Music Boss Awards focus on professionals in the music industry under the age of 30, with categories including ‘Radio Personality of the Year’, ‘A&R of the Year’ and ‘Agent of the Year’ alongside more traditional categories like ‘DJ of the Year’ and ‘Producer of the Year’.

The award ceremony takes place on Thursday 23rd November at Tuke Hall in London witth nominees including Sian Anderson, Jae5 and Vicky Grout. Speaking to Notion, Jusnah Gadi, Founder of YMB said: “Our aim at YMB is to empower and support young music professionals. The idea to host an awards evening was driven by the apparent lack of visibility of so many incredible creatives and entrepreneurs doing massive things to energise the industry. We hope the event helps to bring them to the forefront.”

Tickets for the Young Music Boss Awards are available now from the YMBA website.
