Musical mastermind Diplo has come through with a new collab featuring Justin Bieber, Young Thug, and Rich The Kid out today. The track explores Diplo’s trap roots, with a deep bassline and rubbery beats and even features a rapping Bieber. Bieber’s rapping, however, is not a first. The singer has been rapping since 2010, where he performed a 40-second freestyle for Tim Westwood. Noted, Bieber’s rapping, albeit cringeworthy previously, it quite impressive on ‘Bankroll’. Admittedly less so when considered alongside the contributions from Young Thug and Rich The Kid, where Young Thug takes the wheel on the auto-tuned chorus. Although Diplo has taken a break from projects Major Lazer and Jack Ü to pursue solo work, the producer will be returning to åMajor Lazer this year, releasing their fourth studio album Music Is The Weapon. Listen to ‘Bankroll’ below.
