Punk stylist, designer and art director Judy Blame has passed away aged 58. Having worked with Moschino, Comme des Garcons, Marc Jacobs and more throughout his career in the fashion industry, Blume cut his teeth in London’s punk and club scenes making jewellery from found objects such as bike chains and bones fished from the river Thames.
As an art director and stylist he worked with Bjork, Massive Attack, Kylie Minogue and many more and helped define the aesthetic of the late eighties and early nineties in London. Last year the first major solo exhibition of Blame’s work opened at the ICA.
