Lethal Bizzle, Tkay Maidza and Nathaniel Motte (formerly of 3OH3!) have been announced as mentors for this year’s Nando’s Music Exchange. Now in its fourth year, the programme offers artists a chance to advance their careers with a two-way exchange programme and series of collaborations. This year’s students will be from South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia with 38 musicians making the cut out of over 200 applicants.
With the help of Bizzle and co. the musicians will be tasked with producing a track from scratch at the Roundhouse Young Creatives Studio. Speaking about his work with the project, Lethal Bizzle said “I’ve benefitted from my own mentors over the years such as Richard Antwi, so it’s good to have the opportunity to share what I’ve learnt with the next generation of artists. I’m especially looking forward to seeing what happens when talent from all over the world gets together in a studio to make music from scratch. Hopefully, I’ll learn something myself, too!”
Members of the public will be given the opportunity to attend panel talks with industry experts and talent on Thursday 7th June. More details and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks.
