In the luxurious and pristine surroundings of Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair, Jasper Conran unveiled his AW17 range. Matching up to the splendour of this location was the designer’s collection which consisted of relaxed feminine tailoring with plenty of furs and rich heavy fabrics.
As one of the founding member of the London Designer Collections, Jasper Conran is arguably the god father of LFW. After producing his first collection back in 1978 – it’s fair to say this British designer knows a thing or two about womenswear. This season Jasper focused on putting together a selection of highly polished high fashion garments with a wide and rich selection of fabrics and colours.
From the beautifully boujee fur coats to the brilliantly bold crocodile skin boots, Jasper Conran’s collection had something for everyone with relaxed tailoring contrasted heavily with raw leather camis. The range of hues chosen was vast, from deep metallic rusts to bright pops of colour – each outfit was well put together and looked effortlessly sophisticated. See Davide Cossu’s highlights below.
