D’Angelo has announced his first UK show in two years. On March 6th the legendary neo-soul singer will play a one-off show at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith marking his first appearance on British shores since his Black Messiah promo tour in 2015. He will be joined by a full live band made up of Jesse Johnson, Pino Palladino, Isaiah Sharkey and renown jazz drummer and producer Karriem Riggins as well as British soul icon Omar, who’ll be opening the show.

D’Angelo found fame in the 90s thanks to the success of his debut album Brown Sugar and affiliations with some of the best hip hop and RnB talent of the time including J Dilla, Erykah Badu and Common, with whom he’d go on to found the legendary Soulquarians movement alongside Mos Def, Q Tip, Questlove and others.

Tickets for D’Angelo’s show at the Eventim Apollo are available now.
