With one heck of a year behind her, Meg Mac is keeping us all on our toes waiting for her album, due for release next year. Having supported D’Angelo on his most recent tour, as well as receiving rave reviews for her showcases at SXSW, you cannot ignore this ever-brightening star. And now with her track ‘Roll Up Your Sleeves’ due to be shown on HBO’s ‘Girls’ in 2016, we can expect even greater things for Meg as she reaches an even bigger audience.
Meg Mac’s Photo Diary for Notion
In October she battled out the jet-lag to visit London for a week. Here’s a quick look in photo-diary from at what she got up to.
FEELING VERY BRITISH: Welcome to England. First Stop was a picture outside of Windsor Castle a few hours after arriving. I was freezing.
FEELING FASHIONABLE WHILST DOING PROMO: Here I am, sitting in a cape in a London pub, answering questions in front of a camera.
A BIT OF RETAIL THERAPY: The only shopping I ended up doing was at Brick Lane, and wanted to get this photo with the moon in the background.
WAITING FOR SHOW TIME: Danielle, my backing singer, and I at my second London show. This venue had rooms and rooms filled with taxidermy, everywhere.
PERFORMING LIVE IN LONDON: I played two songs live in this room, for the first time in the UK ever.
SHAZAM: Visiting Shazam’s HQ <3
THE CREW: This is my band and I before our second show
SO LONG, SUNGLASSES: Feeling British again with a red bus on a street somewhere in London. I lost these sunglasses just after taking this photograph. I didn’t realise until I was back home in Australia
FEELING AT HOME AT SPOTIFY: Here I am visiting the Spotify HQ. It was in the morning and I made myself cereal in their kitchen.
