ADP has always been at home behind the boards, the producer of MIA’s ‘Borders’ and ‘Finally’ as well as Yungen’s Top 10 smash ‘Bestie’, he cut his teeth as a producer, putting in work for other people’s names. Now he’s stepping out on his own with his first single ‘No Good For Me’ featuring Jeremih and UK upstart Ebenezer. A club-oriented hip hop/RnB/electronic banger the track blends Jeremih’s signature singing rap style with distorted synths and trap drum patterns, Ebenezer jumping on the final verse to add some much-needed grease to the track, declaring “wipe your mouth, there’s some bullshit on your lips”.

The track’s video, premiering today on Notion, sets the single in a moodily lit club cum cult hideaway. Elaborately dressed women and bottles of booze litter the scene, as do polaroids of ADP and Ebenezer. The pair linger in the background of the video, portrayed as the patrons/ patriarchs of the club/cult only for the latter to end up with his arms and legs bound, in the back seat of one of the women’s cars as she cruises besides the Thames. It’s Atlanta grit and glamour transported to London, topped off with the smoothest Nando’s reference we’ve heard all year. Watch the video for ‘No Good For Me’ below.
