Last month, an army of party-goers descended upon Hackney Town Hall to protest the councils proposed new licensing laws, which state that new venues opening in the borough will have to close by midnight. Thankfully, Night Tales has come along to prove that East London’s nightlife is still alive and kicking – and very much here to stay.
Situated on lively Mare Street, the space inhabits two edgy railway arches and boasts a massive 4, 000 sq. ft. garden (trust us, that’s big!) So there’s plenty of space to throw some shapes – and dancing the night away is most definitely on the agenda. For Halloween, Croydon-based electronic producer, (the aptly named) Skream will be owning the booth, making certain that All Hallows Eve will be a night to remember. And the Hackney joint is no stranger to some stellar performers, there’s already been appearances from the likes of Gorgon City and Notion cover star Octavian (Obvs great taste!)
If you’re not in the party mood, fear not, there’s also a selection of laid-back spots to enjoy some top quality snacks, including Fat Baby, which specialises in Japanese Izakaya style cuisine and Sons of Slice for the pizza lovers. There’s a even a Prosecco shack… need we say more?
