Rihanna took to Paris Fashion Week yesterday to unveil the latest season of her ongoing Fenty X PUMA collection. Debuting at the National Library, the AW17 collection was dubbed “Fenty University’ and drew on traditional American collegiate wear such as letterman jackets and polo shirts. The university staples were given a streetwear twist, exaggerating the silhouettes and bringing in elements of experimentation and couture fashion. Roll-neck shirts were given high crops and long padded coats were a staple throughout. We also got the first glimpse of the new Fenty X PUMA footwear with new creepers, boots and stilettos all appearing in the show.

Every element of the show was true to theme with the models using reading desks for a runway, weaving between traditional green reading lamps as they walked the new collection. All the typical university subcultures made an appearance as well with models styled to represent jocks, sorority girls, goths, skaters, nerds and more. As well as the usual fashion elite in attendance, Rihanna was joined by Future, DJ Mustard and Salma Hayek in Paris for the show. See some of the highlights below.

Thanks for taking me back to detention @fentyxpuma @badgalriri @tom_van_dorpe #FentyXPuma
