Belgian electronic wizards Soulwax have announced the release of their first studio album in twelve years. Titled From Deewee, the album will land on March 24th this year ahead of the group’s European tour which kicks off later that month.

The album takes its name from Deewee studios, where they recorded the project in one take with help from the likes of Mixhell’s Igor Cavalera and Laima Leyton, Blake Davies, Victoria Smith and Stefaan Van Leuven. The album will replicate the setup and sound of their 2016 ‘Transient Program for Drums and Machinery’ tour which also featured the collaborators listed above.

Last month Soulwax premiered the video for their remix of Mixhell and Joe Goddard’s ‘Crocodile Boots’ with Notion, we spoke to Igor from the group to find out more about the collaboration and what Soulwax and co have in the works this year. Listen to ‘Transient Program for Drums and Machinery’ below.
