London MC Suspect is on a roll this year. Having blown up at the tail end of 2017 with the explosive ‘Say It With Your Chest’ he’s been dropping new heat almost every week, collaborating with everyone from Skepta to NYC underdog Wiki in the process. Today he’s come through with his latest Skepta collaboration ‘One Way’. Also featuring South London rapper Jesse James Solomon it’s the kind of borderline experimental trap/drill banger that Suspect has made his trademark.

Produced by FLYO, Felix and Faze Miyake ‘One Way’ is a moody, darkly tinged anthem, swapping the brutal energy of Suspect’s previous releases for a more subdued feel. The accompanying video sees Suspect, Jesse and Skepta cruising around in a car together, a projected vision of London’s streets flickering in the background. It’s as gloomy as the track itself, offering an abstract take on the street life Suspect and co detail in their lyrics. Listen/ watch ‘One Way’ below.
