Earlier this month Tafari Hinds dropped the video for ‘EIIR.’ His debut single, ‘EIIR’ talks about gender and the feeling of living a ‘double life’.

“When I moved to London from Jamaica, I was free to explore my identity and sexuality; I didn’t have to conform to the stereotype of the straight black male. The song and the video are about exploring those different identities within you, whether they’re extreme or subtle, and embracing it all without fear and showing the real you” he says of the track.

Shot by renowned fashion photographer Alastair Strong, the accompanying video translates this theme with a subtle, ambiguous quality. The video is set in an atmospheric urban landscape, depicting Tafari’s story of conflicting identities through two main protagonists, played by Reece King and Bee Beardsworth, who both wear styles from the latest collection by Penfield.
