Every Friday morning deserves a pick me up. Whether you’re rounding off a busy week or clearing a foggy head following a big night before, only the sweetest sounds are permitted on Friday mornings, fact. Luckily Lily Moore is debuting her latest video which is sure to inject some soul into your day.

In the video for ‘17‘, which was filmed in Moore’s favourite cafe in Brighton, she strips back the track, performing a powerful and soulful rendition of her single in front of all her friends and family. At just nineteen, the young talent possesses that rare quality of sounding both refreshing and instantly iconic. We predict big things.

Speaking of the video, she said:

“’17’ is pretty much a song about wanting to enjoy the freedom that being 17 gives you and to not let anything get in the way of that. If I could, I would probably want to stay that age forever. I wanted the music video to be very natural and candid, much like ‘Not That Special’. The director, Colin Solal Cardo, shot both videos on the very same day. I fell in love with his work and how he manages to capture live performances in a super authentic and intimate way.”

Watch Lily Moore unleash her sublime vocals below.

Lily’s EP, Not That Special, is out April 25th. Pre-order it here.
