M.I.A is curating the South Bank’s Meltdown festival this year. Following in the footsteps of David Byrne, Yoko Ono and David Bowie, to name just a few, M.I.A will bring a selection of her favourite artists to the Southbank for a series of special performances, and now she’s revealed the line-up.

Mykki Blanco, Young M.A, Young Fathers, Mr Eazi, Crystal Castles, JD Samson, Afrikan Boy, MHD, Yung Lean, Dexta Daps & I Wayne will join M.I.A and our new Notion 75 cover star, Tommy Genesis at the Southbank Centre this June. Edinburgh experimentalists and Mercury Prize-winners Young Fathers will open the festival on June 9th with a show created especially for Meltdown while M.I.A will close the festival on June 18th following a mammoth day of shows on the 17th which will see Tommy Genesis, Young M.A, Mykki Blanco and JD Samson all take to the stage.

Meltdown Festival takes place June 9-18, for more information and tickets head to the Southbank Centre website.
